Crafted from tissue-thin lace, this cream midi dress is one of Valentino's most ethereal creations yet. It's sheer enough to reveal the matching crepe slip beneath, and is discreetly nipped in at the waist for feminine definition. It has a slim silhouette that's left sheer at the yokes and capped sleeves, and is defined at the waist by soft gathers and a tonal grosgrain band. A piece this precious requires equally delicate accessories – think a simple clutch and barely there stiletto sandals.
I purchased this dress on Matchesfashion.com, and wore it only once at my wedding this past July 2018. Because of the lace, I did cut off the tag since it was very visible when I wore with it, but the dress itself is in pristine shape. No marks or stains. Since the dress was ankle length, the edges never touched the ground. I will include all tags that came with the original purchase.
