This dress was made one of a kind by a wedding dress boutique. It is a TWO dresses in ONE. With the big skirt on, it was my ceremony gown and then for the reception, I unhooked the larger skirt base off and wore the lace sheeth knee-length dress for dancing the night away. Perfect for outdoor summer wedding where it is warmer and you want to be more comfortable.
The dress is white, but not bright white - more ivory - and the shorter dress is covered in lace with some light crystal bead work to add a touch of sparkle when the light hits it just right. Small fabric buttons down the back and a flattering waist band to help eccentuate curves. There is a slight "v" in the back and some sewn in cups act like a strapless bra. I didn't have to wear a bra, which was so nice, and the cups gave me some "lift". This dress was so comfortable and flattering and allowed me to have two kind of "reveal" moments because people thought I had two different dresses. If you have some fun heels, (I had red satin) it's fun to show them off with the short dress!
I wore the day of and not worn since. Been kept in dress bag. I recently looked over the dress and the only "defect" I can see is that one hook (the top hook) of the bottom big skirt is not there so a new one has to be sewn on.
